Starlight Stitchers is a chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., a non-profit, non-discriminating organization. The purpose of the Guild is to encourage all textile arts, especially those using a needle with an eye. We promote the study of history, art, and all subjects related to textile arts and embroidery in all its forms. We strive to foster the highest standards of design and technique.

The 15th day of March, June, September and December  (which are the months just prior to publication).

Membership

Membership is open to anyone interested in textile arts. Members' privileges include the opportunity to attend Guild-sponsored workshops at a minimum fee. Guild members receive Needle Arts, a quarterly publication of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc.

Dues

Dues are $50 per year. Plural membership is available ($20 per year). Membership can start at any time. You may obtain further information concerning membership by emailing the Vice-President, Membership.

Meetings

Meetings are held at 7 PM the second Monday of each month at the Pyle Adult Recreation Center, 655 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ (next to the Tempe Library), unless otherwise noted in the newsletter or on the web site.

Guests

Guests are invited to attend two meetings. Further attendance requires membership.

Name Tags

Members are encouraged to wear stitched nametags, which helps everyone become better acquainted. A 25¢ "no name tag" fee is assessed each member failing to wear their nametag at the regular monthly meeting.
